Yes, it is, actually. Per WP:AGF we can expect that this information is generally entered in good faith from reliable sources. What is shocking is that we have two editors here biting someone who is doing clearly constructive work in the Wikipedia. At least I now have a better idea for why we're losing editors, so I thank you for that. Until WP:AGF is repealed, I cannot budge from my position in good conscience. Overenforcement of rules on constructive article development is something I will not ever agree with. As a side note, if you have an expectation that editors who've been here a long time somehow have to agree with other long-term editors on everything, that we have to be some monolith, I gently suggest that's not the most reasonable expectation.
